KAYAKING AT
ST. MAARTEN

Find the best spots of the island.

At Caribbean Paddling, we offer one of the best ways to discover the coastline, the underwater world and some of the most beautiful beaches of St. Maarten. We are proud to promote that type of activity for many different reasons and one of the main is related to its little impact on the natural environment. Mother nature is precious and we love the idea of protecting her ☺.

On the very long list of the things to do in St. Maarten, kayaking is definitely located at the top of the inventory. The reasonable price, the easy practice side of it and the feeling of freedom that comes out of this activity makes it an unbeatable one!

With our stable, unbreakable and beautifully colored Rotomod kayaks fitted with Hi-Comfort backrests seats, you will glide over the turquoise water with very little effort but a LOT OF FUN!!

Perfect for exploring beaches and coves, kayaking has been growing in popularity for nature lovers, especially in St. Maarten. A kayak really lets you explore ecosystems and get up close and personal with nature. One of the best places for kayaking is in St. Maarten's Marine Park. We proudly support it as an official partner.

Besides the Marine Park, St. Maarten has numerous places to paddle: discover Pinel Island, play with the waves at Caye Verte in front of Orient Bay, explore Galion Bay's mangroves, follow the cliffs at Red Bay, or paddle to Creole Rock in Grand Case and add in a little snorkel trip while you're there. The choices are many!

Now, with our Rotomod kayaks, you will enjoy ultimate stability and easy manoeuvrability. These kayaks are shaped for maximum pleasure! Because of their range and adaptability, these kayaks can be useful for other outdoor activities such as diving, fishing and wilderness exploration.

Kayaking at Green Caye

Play with the waves
Play with the waves
Green Caye is a little island off the beach of Orient Bay. It is easily accessible with a kayak and the paddle lasts only 10mn. There, you'll find a small beach in front of the island. Paddle a bit more on the right and you will find a deserted beach on the Atlantic side, a lagoon with small waves, perfect to spend an afternoon.

Kayaking at Galion Bay

Explore the Mangrove
Explore the Mangrove
Most people don't know it, but we have mangroves in St. Martin. Thanks to its shallow waters, it is only accessible by kayak. The mangrove is part of the Marine Park and hosts tons of birds, iguanas and tropical fishes. Its location makes it very special, as you have the turquoise water on the windy side, and then a quiet area with brown waters. It's really incredible.

Kayaking at Grand Case

Go to the Creole Rock
Go to the Creole Rock
Grand Case is a great starting point to reach the Creole Rock. Located on the Caribbean side of St. Maarten, the bay is protected from the trade winds. Pass the Grand Case Beach Club on the right and paddle gently along the big rocks. There, you can have a break to enjoy the panoramic view on the bay. Then, you can just cross the channel and reach the Rock.
