When traveling to a foreign country, it is not always easy to venture around on your own. We have all asked ourself : is it safe ? Am I paying the right price ? Is it the shortest ride to reach where I am supposed to go ? Which currency am I supposed to use ? How should I proceed with the payment (cash, credit card)…? 

Even if St. Martin is a small Island, the questioning remains the same for our dear visitors, especially since the Island is divided into two different nations, the Dutch and the French side. 

And Caribbean Paddling has thought of a service to let your worrying go away : organising the transportation for you!

Who is it for? Everybody ! No matter where you come from – cruise ships -, or where you are staying –hotels, private villas, private boats -, we can send our taxi to pick you up in the morning and take you back in the afternoon, after spending an amazing day in Pinel Island. The idea is to make it as easy as possible for you, while we handle the logistic part.

How does it work? When booking your paddle board or kayak rental on our website, just take the transportation package option. From that point, the booking process will lead you to set up a pick up time (every hour from 8:30am) and location.

How much does it cost? 25 US dollars per person for the transportation service + 15 US dollars per person for the gear rental for the day. The total comes to 40 US dollars per person for a guaranteed unforgettable day ! Pretty reasonable, right ? ☺

Who’s the driver? Her name is Theresa and she is the sweetest and most reliable taxi we know on the Island. She will pick you up with a smile on her face and drive you to the shop, giving you a brief feeling of what Sint Maarten represents for her, since she grew up on those lands.
